My response to the D&AD Student Awards 2008 Graphic Design brief for Golancz/Orion Books as part of an external context unit of 3rd year Graphic Communication at UCCA Farnham.
The primary aim was to develop a system that gave the book the look of belonging to a set, and to rid the science fiction/fantasy genre of its 'geeky' image.
Proposed cover stock is Cyclus Offset 350gsm with various colour foil-blocked illustrations, not shown in the 3D mock up. 3/5 covers shown.
